"My name is Karolina Popescu, I am 21 years old and live in Frankfurt, Germany. I have participated for a year in a volunteering program, at the Joyo Foundation, Bucharest, Romania. I can say that it was the most beautiful and interesting activity I ever performed. Due to the new and important experiences accumulated in the Foundation, I can say I changed my behavior and thinking about the future. I have learned very much from the team in which I was involved in, as also from the children. I have experienced many interesting things together and can say that I also grow up during this period. All the time spent in Romania, they were like a second family to me and I will never forget the nice moments we spent together."
